The Story Behind
When I first founded Agrodreams, I didn’t imagine it would grow beyond a small discussion group of students who cared about rural entrepreneurship. Back then, I was fascnated by the idea of discovering wags for local OCOP products—those small but meaningful creations of Vietnamese artisans—to reach more people. Growing up in Nghệ An, I’ve always carried a deep respect for the people who turn simple things—soil, leaves, and fiber—into beauty. I founded Agrodreams as a way to bridge that quiet resilience with the energy of youth. What started as a small club soon became a movement.
We organized OCOP Trips across Hanoi and Nghệ An, where foreign tourists met local artisans, listened to their stories, and learned to craft with their hands. The pride in the artisans’ eyes, the joy in the visitors’ laughter—those became the real outcomes I measured.
Later, when I got an internship at Nghệ An’s Dept. of Agriculture & Environment, I connect the Department with 18 artisans through a policy–community forum on digital transformation; later, we launched the “Two Students – One Village” initiative, where teenagers helped artisans build sustainable online stores. Being able to observe the whole arduous process, I realized that development isn’t a top-down process—it’s a shared heartbeat between tradition and transformation, between remembering and reimagining.
